Priest, teacher, and lexicographer.

He was born in Mosul . He studied at the Seminary of St. John starting in 1893. He was ordained a priest in 1904 for Qaraqosh where he served for three years, after which he returned to Mosul and taught at the seminary.
他出生于摩苏尔 (Mosul)。他自 1893 年起在圣约翰修院 (Seminary of St. John) 学习。他于 1904 年被祝圣为司铎，派往卡拉科什 (Qaraqosh) 服务三年，之后返回摩苏尔 (Mosul) 并在修院任教。
He composed an Arabic-Syriac lexicon. The lemmas until sīn were published (n.d.), with a 2nd ed. published under the title ktobo d-simto / Arabisk-Ass. / Syr. Ordbok (1984), with an introduction in Syriac and Swedish by Gabriel Isik.
他编纂了一部阿拉伯语 - 叙利亚语词典。直至辛字母 (sīn) 的词条已出版（无出版日期 (n.d.)），第二版 (2nd ed.) 以《词库之书》(ktobo d-simto) / 《阿拉伯语 - 亚述语》(Arabisk-Ass.) / 《叙利亚语词典》(Syr. Ordbok) 为题出版（1984 年），附有加布里埃尔·伊西克 (Gabriel Isik) 用叙利亚语和瑞典语撰写的导言。
